Having a Relationship with God

God loves you and sent His Son, Jesus, to live as an example and die on the cross for you. He hopes to have a relationship with you. The way to start a relationship with God is to simply ask Him.

In the Bible, the apostle John wrote that "God so loved the world (you and me) that He gave His only Son (Jesus Christ) that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) might have eternal life (in heaven)."

If you would like to have a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, simply ask Him for that relationship. He will receive you as you receive Him into your life.

Once you've established that relationship with God, find others who know Him, too. Next, get a Bible and read it. Also, find a community of believers to spend time with, who can help you learn more about God and His Word.

If you need someone to help you know God, you may contact the pastor of one of our ABA churches by clicking on the "Churches" link at the top of this page. John Brittain, our Director of Missions would be happy to speak with you, if you would like. You may contact him at 410.647.0507 or email him at john@arundelbaptist.info. May God bless you as you get to know Him!
