John and Kelly returned to Maryland from New Orleans in February 2002. They have two boys, Caleb Jordan (b. 12.20.03) and Micah Nathaniel (b. 01.24.07).

John is in his seventh year of service as Associational Director of Missions and enjoys watching what the Lord is doing with a diverse group of Southern Baptist congregations in and around Anne Arundel County. Recently, he completed a PhD in Christian Education, writing a research report about the church health of Faith Christian Fellowship (PCA), a multiethnic congregation in Baltimore.

John is a University of Michigan and Big Ten fan, who roots for Detroit teams, but enjoys the Terps and Camden Yards. Both John and Kelly are musical and love to sing. Potentially, Caleb will play a wider variety of instruments than his dad, who plays piano, guitar, drums, and trombone. Micah is likely to be the tallest and strongest family member (he's one and is wearing 24 mos. clothes!).
